(10) Black Friday Ad Creatives

  • Consumer Psychology = CTR
  • 5 Key Elements for high CTR
  • Examples
  • Maximizing delivery and efficiency
  • EXERCISE

Consumer Psychology = CTR

  • Give the consumer what they want in that moment, otherwise, they won’t click
  • People are ready to buy, but they are being bombarded
  • They want simple, clear things, with visible offers

Simple, but let’s just keep it in mind when designing the ads.

5 key elements

  1. The product is clearly visible from the start and easy to understand; I don’t make people think
  2. Text inside the ad creative
  3. The discount is very visible: big, in the creative, in the copy, and in the description
  4. Scroll Stopper: headline, bright colors, person looking at me, person in strange position, …
  5. Engagement in the ad: check the top spending ads and reply to comments every 24h

  • 50-60% OF YOUR CREATIVES MUST BE EVERGREEN WINNERS WITH BLACK FRIDAY MESSAGING
  • THEN TAKE 40-50% RISK AND TRY NEW ADS

More ad inspiration:

Efficiency and Delivery

  • I’m all in for ABO testing 1 ad per ad set, isolating variables and making pure tests
  • But when it comes to scaling, mixing ad creatives, consolidating and looking for a “broader” approach can be beneficial,
  • And if we talk about Black Friday, where the main challenge is getting your ads delivered at a good CPM,
  • Efficiency and delivery become very important

EXAMPLE

  • 1 ad set y 4 angles inside
  • 1 advantage+ and 1 angle, but put 4 ad formats

EXERCISE

  • Start converting your best evergreen winner ads into Black Friday messaging
  • Check the Meta Youtube video about efficiency
  • Check all the links I’ve added in this document and see how it applies in your personal case

______

DAVIDE ADD:

  • CHAT GPT
  • TRAIN THE INTELLIGENCE: what do you sell, describe the business, describe the product, (...)
  • Then ask for what you want:

  1. Market Research PROMPT
  2. Product Page PROMPT + Style of communication
  3. Framework PROMPT (AIDA, …)
